Hi Keith- I just wanted to thank you for recommending the Honda 520a that I bought this Fall. I had about 30 inches of snow on my driveway after the recent blizzard, and wondered how this snow blower would work under such extreme conditions. The answer is great! True, I had to go much slower than usual, but it sure beat using a shovel. And even at the end of my driveway where the plows piled up snow, I still was able to use this. You were right in telling me to skip the extra money for an electric start. It took only two pulls of the starter cord to get this going, and not a lot of effort was required. When a product works even better than expected, I like to tell the dealer, since most people only comment when they have a problem. Dear Keith, We have had our Alpine Living Air Machines for quite a while now, and there have consequently been a number of positive things we have consistently noticed. Firstly, they have solved the mildew problems in our basement. Newly washed laundry left in the washing machine for only two hours used to have a strong mildew smell. We put a little Bora in the basement, and that was the end of the mildew odor. Also, some time ago when I did extensive redecorating, the odor of pain and polyurethane was banished very quickly. We ran the XL-15 constantly as usual, and anyone entering the house noticed almost no paint odors. Just recently, after we vacuumed and started up one of our air conditioners for the first time this season, I immediately began to cough and choke. We brought the Apline machine near and focused it on the air conditioner as it ran. This is a step we routinely take every spring with all the air conditioners, and which we mistakenly thought we could omit this time). My coughing stopped almost immediately. Living in Staten Island, we have a lot of pollution to contend with—–smells from the dump, stench and noxious fumes from the New Jersey refineries, etc. This has been not only annoying, but also worrisome. However, the Alpine takes away the odors and gives us the assuarance that at least the air in our home is pure and safe to breathe. We plan to take the Bora with us on vacation and put it in the beach house we’re renting. That’ll take care of any mold, mildew etc., often found in these places. In short, we are happy to let you know that we are very glad of these machines and wouldn’t think of doing without them.

Dear Mr. Petersen, I have been wanting to write this letter for some time now, but it seemed I was either raising kids, working or didn’t have access to a PC in order to find out who it was that made Filter Queen an integral part of my life growing up. It all began in Texas, it was either ’66 or ’67…I came home from a friends house and noticed that our living room was full. I have seven brothers and sisters (most of them were present), my mom and a really nice man were working with what I soon learned was a new type of vacuum. This was no ordinary vacuum by any means; it could do all sorts of things. The man massaged my brothers’ head with one attachment, made suds to clean furniture and such with another…well, I’m sure you know the list. My four sisters and I were already planning on drying our hair, if, mom bought it. The Filter Queen was amazing; it had several interchangeable heads for different floor surfaces. We all knew that we could not live without this vacuum. This is where my story gets interesting…the eight of us kids ranged in age from 1 to 13, my mother was (of course) a stay at home mom and my dad worked as a salesman making $10,000 a year in sales. He came home right after my mom bought the Filter Queen from the nice man. My father was livid but after one day I realized who really was the best salesman in the house and it wasn’t my dad. My mom convinced Dad that with all the kids she had and all the things she had to do, she needed that vauum; and he agreed. My father loves my mother very much, 54 years together as of this March. My dad loved that vacuum…he taught us all how to really do a good job vacuuming by using the Filter Queen. Over the years we moved several times and the Filter Queen was always the first item to enter the house and the last item to leave. We eventually moved to Arizona and lived pretty much in the middle of nowhere. Dust was always getting in the house and there was no way to prevent it. As we grew up our houses got bigger and bigger with several types of floor covering and the Filter Queen was always ready for the job. Every time one of my brothers or sisters moved out they always borrowed the Filter Queen, once again it being the first thing in and last thing out. My older sister and her husband installed tile throughout their entire house (by themselves) what a mess it was, they had to keep the Filter Queen at their house for almost two weeks but it did the job with no complaints.

Dear Mr. Petersen, The Alpine Living Air Machine has given me back my life. My daughter and I suffer with allergies. At times it has been disabling. My daughter’s allergies triggers asthma attacks. My allergies attacks my upper respiratory system. Both of us have had countless sinus infections. The amount of various prescription inhalers, nasal sprays and allergy medication in my medicine cabinet is enormous. I would have to change medications periodically because even the prescribed medication had little or no effect. Last winter I got a severe attack. I was flat on my back for five weeks, and continued to be ill to some degree for four months after that. During that time we purchased the COM AIR EAGEL 2500. In the short time that we have had this in our house, I am off inhalers and nasal sprays. My allergies have been greatly alleviated. My daughter’s allergies, which are usually in full bloom at this time of the year are not at all visibile. She does not get winded running around the house. We both suffer with horrible headaches. These headaches are few and far between. My husband’s night cough has subsided and my son does not wake up sneezing. My father, who is the king of headaches, comes to visit and within a day’s time his headache is gone. Thank you for having this air purifier available. Although other stores may offer air purifiers, the type that is available is not efficient for household with allergies and respiratory problems. We run our unit 24-hours a day, seven days a week. This is as important in our house as having running water. We cannot live without it. I am not exaggerating when I say that it saved my life. I truly believed I was going to die this past winter. I was never as sick as I was this winter. This is not part of a scheme it is the honest truth. My family has the Petersen’s and the Alpine Living Air Machine Company to thank for giving us quality back in our life.
