Sebo is a 35+ year-old German manufacturer that makes one of the finest of upright vacuums. Sebo Upright Vacuums are precisely engineered with airtight housings and a massive, S-class filter (Hepa) so that absolutely no microscopic pollutants can escape anywhere. Sebo also makes an exceptionally fine line of canister vacuums.

Most vacuums, irrespective of the filters that may be used on the vacuum, are simply not airtight – the result of which is that millions of microscopic particles are being emitted back into the air as these machines are used for vacuuming. These tiny, lung damaging particles (LDP) are then breathed into the lung sacs. A Sebo retains all these pollutants – a tremendous health benefit – which is why the Sebo carries an anti-allergy, hospital-grade seal of approval.

The Sebo Upright Vacuum also uses a high-speed revolving brush (5000 rpm) for optimum cleaning performance. Most upright vacuums have revolving brushes that only spin at 2000 – 3000 rpm. The faster brush speed on the Sebo simply means faster – and, more thorough – cleaning. And, to ensure that the brush speed always stays at the 5000 rpm speed, the Sebo uses a cogged belt design – rather than the standard rubber belts which stretch and slip. Further, to protect the belt from ever breaking, the vacuum stops if the brush becomes jammed for any reason. The result – a 3-year warranty on the belt and the likelihood that the belts will never need replacing.

To ensure that the Sebo vacuum is always properly adjusted to any given carpet or bare floor, Sebo uses an exclusive, self-adjusting height mechanism. With this design, the vacuum automatically adjusts itself to the precise height needed for optimum cleaning on any carpet or bare floor surface. It is fast and effortless – no more bending or wrestling with contrary height adjustment slides or dials.

Of course, all the cleaning accessories are on board and instantly usable. We know of no other upright vacuum that offers such ease of use with on-board (TOB) tools. There is even an optional accessory kit that incorporates a 10-foot hose, additional wand and a very good bare floor brush – great for difficult to clean bare floors, stairs, cars, etc.
